Arnoldstein
Because the (ski) lift from Arnoldstein is out of order, we hiked the 1st june 2024 from Rateče to the 3i-point At/It/Slo.
We took the steeple road through the woods way up and heard there that there is a easier way. That we took downwards.
Rateče is situated on 864 mtr. The 3i-point on 1508. Through the woods most steeple is from 1200 mtr. We were lucky that we could stop every 50 mtr. to fotograph the bordermarker between Italy and Slovenia. I guess there must be about 150 BM's from the 3ipoint untill the borderpassing at Valico di Fusine.

Unfortunally the whole way up it was raining. At the 3i-point it was misty, windy and colddddddddd.
