On the Artex-24 page you can read what preceded this day.

Thoday as wel promises to be exciting, first with a boat to approx. 3 km. from the three-country point, then do our research there and then about 10 km. walk/hike back.

The latter turned out to be a trip of about 5 hours.Below is a photo impression of the day.

Pene-enclave

Where an en- or exclave is fully surrounded by another(s) territory, f.i. Büsingen (De) or Jungholz (At), a pene-en- or exclave is not completely separated from the main part, but can only - in practice - be reached by passing through another area. There is f.i. no road-acces from the own area; only access is from/through another area.

The area can be a country, but (sub)nationaly it can be any kind of area.

Actually the Swedish and Norwegian property at the 3i-point FiNoSe, are pene-enclaves as well.

Both only can be reached from Finland.

After finding these 3 bordermarkers, we will have a look for the pene-enclave, Jasper found on the map, named Golddajávri.

We are lucky to find it and were thrilled to find a BM on the borderline of the pene-enclave as well.

Without a number but with a Swedish and Norwegian side.
