It might be good to show here first a map with a part of Europe in the late 1700/beginning 1800.
An enormous number of Kingdoms, Bishoprics, Archbishoprics, Counties, Duchies and Principalities have made way for forms of enlargement, other forms of government and a completely different division of countries.

The counting on the border BEDE, from Ouren tot Vaals, starts at Ouren on the place thant since 1919 the tri-point BEDELU is, with bordermarker no. 52 (that also is no. 1 for the bordercounting of 1919 (1032 bordermarkers)).
Because the counting in 1815 started at Schengen (LU), it means that in LU there are 52 bordermarkers from Schengen to Ouren. In 1815 the tripoint LUNEPR (those days it was Kingdom Pruissen) was situated at BM no. 75 (for BELU no. 286).
