Just before 9 a.m., about 50 hikers gather at Rue Principale in Grass, I am allowed to be one of them.

We are picked up by a coach that takes us to border post #028 at Auf Herbstberg in Pétange.

Once we get out, we listen to the organizer and set off on a 13 km walk, along border posts and border stones, from # 028 to # 059.

But, ........ the latter has been missing for a long time, hasn't it?

That's absolutely right, but it has been found, restored and replaced.

After the walk, it will be officially unveiled by 3 mayors.

Many thanks to Jos Goergen, who took the necessary initiatives and invited us, with 4 members of the border post group we are representing the Netherlands!

During the walk, conversations start, you get to know fellow walkers and at the end of the day, which ended with a delicious BBQ, you have not only walked, but also thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful nature that Luxembourg has to offer, and above all, you have gotten to know people.

Peu avant 9h, une cinquantaine de marcheurs se rassemblent rue Principale à Grass, j'en fais partie.

Nous sommes pris en charge par un autocar qui nous emmène au poste frontière n°028 à Auf Herbstberg à Pétange.

Une fois sortis, nous écoutons l'organisateur et partons pour un tour de 13 km, en passant par des postes frontières et des bornes, du # 028 au # 059.

Mais,........ce dernier est parti depuis longtemps, n'est-ce pas ?

C'est tout à fait exact, mais elle a été retrouvée, restaurée et rendue.

Après la marche, il sera officiellement dévoilé par trois maires.

Un grand merci à Jos Goergen, qui a pris les initiatives nécessaires et nous a invités, représentés par 4 membres du groupe des postes frontières des Pays-Bas!

Au cours de la promenade, les conversations s'engagent, vous faites connaissance avec d'autres randonneurs et à la fin de la journée, qui s'est terminée par un délicieux barbecue, vous avez non seulement marché, mais aussi pleinement profité de la belle nature que le Luxembourg a à offrir, et surtout, vous avez appris à connaître des gens.
