700 bordermarkers
The border between Luxembourg and France extends from the three-country point at Rodange in the West, where border marker #001 is located in Luxembourg, to the three-country point of Schengen in the East, where a buoy is located in the river Moselle, exactly at this three-country point.
This border extends over 'only' a distance of 75 km, but has ± 950 official border ornaments.
Researchers from the Grenspalengroep Nederland, Eef, Jannis and Marc investigated this border between 2022 and 2025 and found still 700 border ornaments.

La frontière entre le Luxembourg et la France s'étend du tripoint de Rodange à l'ouest, où se trouve le poste frontière n°001 au Luxembourg, jusqu'au tripoint de Schengen à l'est, où une bouée est située dans la Moselle, exactement à ce tripoint.
Cette frontière s'étend sur « seulement » une distance de 75 km, mais compte environ 950 éléments frontaliers officiels.
Les chercheurs du Grenspalengroep Nederland, Eef, Jannis et Marc, ont examiné cette bordure entre 2022 et 2025 et ont trouvé environ 700 ornements de bordure.
